It isn’t my rose nor was it my ultimatum, but I have been watching this evolve over the past 6 or 7 years. I laughed so hard when she told me about the ‘talk’ she had with the bush – grow or I will plant cabbage in your place, she told it! I told her that I might try that with a couple of my plants, I always sweet talk and plead. Maybe some tough love is in order 😉 And yes I do think they have ‘ears’!!
*smiles* Thank you, that is so nice to hear! The past month or so has been a little weird, my mojo kind of came and went – things are starting to level out though. Very good to hear from you, I hope everything is good for you n the family and the promo is going well 🙂
Now you can’t get offended A. because I’m basing this on a word and not your looks (I’ve no clue what you look like), and b. there really is nothing at all wrong with falling into any age bracket. I mean… right?
So, I’m guessing you to be in your thirties. I seldom hear the term “mojo” from any age group other than those who were in their teens or early twenties when Austin Powers’ “The Spy Who Shagged Me” hit theaters.
I know that the word has been around forever, but I simply never hear anyone use it unless they were a fan of the Austin Powers movies.
So, “The Spy Who Shagged Me” hit theaters in ’99. You would have been anywhere from… I’m going to say 20 to 28
This puts you in your thirties or… no, I’m just going with thirties.
In your “about” page, you’re direct. Not terse, or at all unpleasant, but you seem direct. Thus you must not be in your forties.
You are kind and patient, thus you lack the prickly, sharp edges of the stereotypical girl in her twenties.
LOL! Well, you tiptoed through that minefield without stepping in it too bad. Hehehe… I have to say I laughed pretty hard reading your answer.
I try not to assume what others think so I had to ask where you were coming from. When I thought about what you said I could take it a few ways: Hippie, Jim Morrison era, and of course Austin Powers. Let’s see where I fall on this continuum. So, for a while as a teen I was semi-obsessed with the Doors and I helped name a friends dog “Mojo.” And your powers of deduction served you well as I was 20 when Austin first came out, since then I have seen those movies way too many times. I’m a big James Bond fan so I thought the the Austin Powers movies were quite clever.
I turned 34 this last birthday, I’m trying to remember if I had “…prickly, sharp edges…” in my 20’s, I don’t know, maybe. I have mellowed a little. I’ve always been direct, but I’m not looking forward to becoming terse or unpleasant when I hit 40… LOL!! Nah, I think I have become the authentic me, I’m kind but I do my best not to take any shit 😉
Choosing to stay semi-private on my blog allows me to be more creative and free in this space. Sometimes I do wonder how others perceive me due to this lack of personal info, I think I give enough for now though. One day I may try to sell my work for a little “mad money” and I’ll have to come out from behind the curtain then.
Oh yeah, by the way, you know my real name… that should have been clue no. 1 and a dead giveaway!! Anyway, you didn’t offend me, instead you made me laugh. Have a great day and get on with posting some pictures!!
Messin’ with your head! Just to remind us, we don’t know best. We don’t know much at all. And they have ears!

Beautiful
Thank you
Oh my. These are really something. I’m a little speechless at the quality of your work these days. The story was fun too. 🙂

Things are going well. And ime glad that things are getting better for your mojo.
I’ve thought a couple of times about what age bracket you might be in, the term “mojo” seems to be a good hint. Lol.
Glad to hear all is well. But… you have me curious… what age bracket does the word “mojo” allude to? You won’t offend if you’re wrong, promise.
Heh… well.
