Hope you get to go. So beautiful and relaxing. 😉
I am planning on it 🙂 I need a few hours of relaxation on the beach. It’s bad that I live so darn close and only make it there every few months… but summer is coming!
Hi Salty, we just got back from a photographic hike in the woods. Got to tell you, it’s already hot!!! Both of us were sweating our hineys off. Enjoy the beach and look out for the shark!! 😉
It is getting so hot! I can’t imagine what it is like inland a little bit and in the woods – it must be stifling hot. I never made it to the beach, one project turned into another, and another, and then here it’s Monday 🙂 I will make it there though, I am sooo ready. Have a great week, looking forward to catching up with your posts!
You’re right Salty….HOT, HOT, HOT and it’s too darned early in the year. What on earth is summer going to be like. We were out in the woods on Sunday and hiked 6+ miles scoping out new areas to photograph. It also happened to be a major “feed” time. We saw more hog than we could count. One mama hog mock charged us as we were getting too close to her babies (we had no clue she was there till she charged). Thankfully, Marks managed to bark out some “hog” commands LOL and she left us alone. Me? I was just trying to capture the moment on my point and shoot digital ha ha!! It’s also apparent that there are plenty of ticks around right now. We came back and stripped off and found quite a few seed tick. Amazing thing is both of us were wearing snake boots, camo pants etc. So how on earth did they find their way onto us? Anyway be careful. Yeah isn’t home ownership fun? Always another project to be done. Have a great week.
Eww.. ticks.. I have been there, covered with the little boogers. I hate the way it feels! Then you feel them crawling on you for hours after whether they’re there or not 😦 Glad you managed to diffuse the moment with the momma hog, that could’ve been bad! Enjoy this nice cool weather, a little reprieve before summer.
We’re going out on the motorcycle for a little ride. First sun in ages so taking advantage of it. Major case of cabin fever here!! Have a good one Salty
Oh, it is a perfect day for it! Enjoy!!
BRRRR – believe it or not, it was cold and windy on the back of that bike. We had a lovely ride but my eyes were watering the whole time (this getting older sucks – I don’t remember having this problem a few years ago). We stopped for lunch on the way back. The woods are really wet right now. Lots of deep standing water. Now that the front has passed the weather has turned gorgeous and just the right temperatures. Isn’t it great seeing that bright light in the sky again???? Sunshine!!! Love it!!
Lol! Cold in May, isn’t that something!! Sounds like you had a good time though. I adore this weather, hot sun with a cool breeze, the BEST. It is very wet out, I bet the mosquito’s love it (yuck). I’m with you on the sunshine, too many grey, rainy days and I start to get WV flashbacks 😉
Have a nice trip!
Thank you 😀
Can I come too!?!??! 😉
Oh, if I could, I would bring you along – in a heartbeat! I know you would bring something yummy to eat too 😉
This is a lovely… I am sooo ready to go! 🙂
