Your capture of the inverted anole is exceptional… that eye!
Looks like a cats eye marble!
Aren’t they sweet!?! Thank you so much 🙂
Beautiful photos… does these animals lives in your garden or nearby? Or in the wild nature?
They live everywhere! They love living near my potted plants, in the banana trees, I see them in the scrub and woods, and on the sides of buildings. It took me some time to get used to having lizards running everywhere 🙂
I love anoles. Your new camera is fabulous!
I love them too! The new camera is allowing me to get the shots I always wanted to with my old one… like pics of my little critters 🙂
Thank you!! 😀
I love these little lizards! I used to catch them and keep them as pets when I was little. I actually had a little terrarium setup for them. Haha. Awesome pictures. It reminds me of being a kid. I like the big detailed photo. 🙂
That’s so sweet, cool memory 🙂 They make the garden come alive, it wouldn’t be the same without them. Thank you!
That last shot is a lot of fun. It almost seems that your photo has attributed a level of personification to the subject.
It could be just that this is the clearest I’ve ever seen one of these little guys’ eyes.
I think it was mesmerized by its own reflection in the lens, allowed me to get a nice pic. Anoles have a thoughtfulness behind their eyes that I don’t necessarily see in all lizards. They are intense little creatures 😉
