The frost didn’t get them this year!! These are the first spring bananas we’ve had since living here thanks to the mild winter.
Our banana tree has been so confused this winter it’s put out two lots of bananas. One of them as early as November. This mild winter could play havoc with our storm season though. 😉
Oh you read my mind. Our avocado is loaded with bloom and the all the other trees are doing so well. I am nervous about this season for some reason… ’04 was the last time the avocado tree did this well it has been recovering from the storms and a few hard frosts ever since…
We’ve been having bananas set since Sept or Oct. They make great banana pudding! Have a super weekend guys 🙂
Hope we don’t get a “rockin’ rolling” type of hurricane season as a result. I would hate to have to lose all our lovely trees and there’s our fish ponds to think of……don’t want to think about all that mess and debris.
Yummmmmm love banana pudding, pie etc. You’ve given me an idea.
Kind of cloudy and windy here but not complaining when I read about the storm those in the NE are facing. Don’t you just love being in Florida?
Enjoy the rest of the weekend.
Nice detailed pictures!
The middle shot is beautiful! That’s the new camera, yes?
You know it!! I haven’t picked up my Sony since I got the new one 😉
Lol. I mean, why would you do that? You got the hang of this rather quickly.
Right!?! Thank you, some of the more complex shots still have me struggling, but so far so good 🙂
